Explore the Art of Wool Painting

Wool can be transformed into a painterly landscape image using the needle felting technique. With 30+ NZ Corriedale wool color choices, you will learn how to blend & mix various shades of colored wool fibers to achieve a beautiful wool painting with Colorful Sky, Sunrise, Sunset, Mountains, Trees, Ocean or River. All essential felting materials and supplies will be provided, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for participants of all skill levels. No prior experience is necessary.

Fiber artist and teaching artist

Cecilia Ho is a fiber artist and SC Arts Commission Verified Teaching Artist (SCAD161) based in Greenville, South Carolina. Through her studio, FeltasticFashion, she explores the rich textures and possibilities of natural wool, silk, and plant fibers using needle, wet, nuno, and shibori felting techniques. Her portfolio ranges from decorative and functional wool creations to custom wearable art. Passionate about arts education, Cecilia frequently partners with schools and communities to share the historic craft and science of felting through hands-on workshops and artist-in-residence programs.
