Help 4 Hope
On Tuesday April 14, the Arts Center was the card distribution site for Help 4 Hope, a combined effort of the Watterson Family Foundation and the Hilton Head Island Bluffton Chamber of Commerce.
The organization benefits those who lost their jobs due to the Coronavirus or anyone in need. Cards may be redeemed at 35+ restaurants for a meal for 4, so restaurants benefit as well by keeping their doors open. We handed out 350 cards in just one hour. That's 1,400 meals!

To enter, email both the photo of your copycat creation and the original artwork you recreate to aadams@artshhi.com. Deadline to submit is Friday, April 24.
We'll post a link to view the entire Arts Center gallery soon!
Kinky Boots Update
You should have received word from us that Kinky Boots (originally scheduled for April 29 – May 24) has been postponed. The exciting news, however, is that we will open with this Tony Award-winning musical in the fall, kicking off our 25th Season here at the Arts Center!
If you had tickets to the show, you've also received correspondence about your choices. Please check your email for that, and thank you for your patience as we contact everyone on the list!
If you've already responded, no need to do so again.
Cyber School of Art
Lessons 3 & 4
The Arts Center has your next Cyber School of Art lesson ready to watch and create! We are excited to offer free arts learning experiences for teachers and students to enjoy online, led by Senior Director of Education Alana Adams, along with her helpful assistant/son Jasper. Each lesson includes a PDF that you can share or print, along with an accompanying video tutorial.
Arts Center Peeps & Pets
While we at the Arts Center are working from home, we'd like you to meet some of our four-legged support staff who get us through the day!
Featured here, and in the weeks to come, you'll see some faces of the Arts Center with their beloved fur babies.

Happy at Home Initiative
The Town of Hilton Head Island reached out to several community leaders this week to be part of their Happy at Home video campaign. We wanted to share our own Arts Center CEO Jeffrey Reeves' very important message to stay at home!
It's evident the arts are vital to our lives — especially now — as a way to broaden our experiences, enrich our lives, and remain connected. Play stay tuned as we continue to expand our virtual arts community until we're together again.
