Kids N' Clay Camp
Students will learn a variety of ceramic hand building techniques: including pinch, slab, coil, surface decoration, glazing, and more!

Theatre Camp 2017
Make a cast of new friends during this fun-filled week! Campers will experience a mini-production and will not only be the cast, but will also be the production crew. Campers will learn how to write scripts, understand and develop characters, create sets, props, and design costumes.

Mixed- Up Masterpieces Visual Arts Camp
In this one-week camp, students will study folk and fine art from all around the world that will inspire both traditional and unusual 2D and 3D masterpieces.

July 31-August 4, 2017
STEAM Summer Camp is an exciting and hands-on learning opportunity for youth, with a special emphasis on the STEAM curriculum areas (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics). During this fun-filled week campers will learn about concepts such as vibrations, circuits, forces of motion, simple machines, and electromagnetism while creating projects that will have them eager to learn more!

Summer Camps 2017
The Arts Center is pleased to offer summer camps beginning June 12 and running through August 4. We're offering 8 sessions of 5 different camps including Kids N Clay, Mixed Up Masterpieces, Take the Stage, Theater Camp, and new this year a STEAM Camp, which incorporates hands on learning in science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics!

Batik Beach Sarong
Participants ages 8-adult will learn the batik method of layering wax and color to create pattern on fabric to make your very own unique sarong.

Family Fun: Clay Autumn Leaf Bowls
In this workshop each participant will use real leaves and terra cotta clay to create a trio of bowls or dishes. After works dry they will be bisque fired and clear glazed before being returned.

The perfect ladies night out! Choose from a variety of holiday or other themes, and learn the basic steps to create a pair of personalized wine glasses for entertaining or a gift. All materials will be provided for the project. Bring a beverage of your choice so you can sip while you paint!

Family Fun! Clay Snowflake Ornaments
Have fun learning basic pottery techniques then use radial symmetry to complete 4 unique snowflake ornaments that will be great for gifts. Work will be fired then will be available for pick-up by Dec. 9. All Ages Welcome (age 5 & under must be with an adult)

Tuesday Afternoons October 4 - November 1 (Five week session)
Handbuilt Pottery: Function & Form
"Handbuilding" is working with clay by hand using only simple tools, not the pottery wheel. In this course participants will learn basic clay handbuilding techniques such as slab, pinch and coil and will complete several functional works of art. Five 2-hour sessions.
