Light Up the Night Sky with Your Artwork!

During this 2-hour workshop via Zoom, you and your family will have an opportunity to create one-of-a kind paper lanterns that celebrate life on Hilton Head Island. From pirates and mermaids to cranes and crabs of the Lowcountry, participants will get creative as they craft their very own illuminated lantern sculpture to participate in the Hilton Head Island Lantern Parade-in-Place to be held November 5-7, 2020.

Price includes a supply kit with everything you need to get creative including a globe lantern, battery-operated light source, a variety of decorative elements, adhesive, and a bamboo stake for display of your lantern.

Reserve Your Spot

If you are unable to attend the Zoom live event you may request a recording of it prior to the event, and create your lantern afterwards.

Alana Adams
Senior Director of Education

Alana Adams received her BFA in Art Education at Georgia State University with an emphasis in ceramics and sculpture. Since receiving her PK-12 certification in 2001, she has gone on to teach art and pottery for children and adults in both private and public institutions. Alana specializes in the development of arts-integrated curricula and is the Senior Director of Education at the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina.
