Campers will experience a mini-production and will not only be the cast, but will also be the production crew. Campers will learn how to write scripts, understand and develop characters, create sets, props, and design costumes.

INSTRUCTOR BIOS
Jay Apking -- Jay is the president and creator of Great American Child which focuses on books and programs which teach all children to be well-rounded. He has been directing and performing for children since 1996, having worked at the Cincinnati Shakespeare Festival and the Barter Theater in Virginia as well as touring the eastern U.S and Russia with productions. He also had his own children's theatre company named The Janus Project. He currently lives in Knoxville, TN with his family.

Family Discount: 1st child pays full tuition, 2nd or more children receive 10% off tuition

Multiple Camps: Attend Take the Stage! and Mixed Up Masterpieces in the same week for a full day of fun and receive $25 off.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations must be made 2 weeks prior to the first day of class. A $25 administration fee will be deducted from any refunded amount for all summer camps. To request a cancellation please email aadams@artshhi.com. Refunds will be mailed within 2 weeks of cancellation.

What to bring:
For students attending all day camps, please provide a sack lunch and drink. Otherwise, a water bottle is all you will need! Art smocks are available for visual arts camps but to ensure a stress-free week please send your child in clothes that can get messy.
