|Instructor: Alana Adams - Alana received her BFA in Art Education at Georgia State University with an emphasis in ceramics and sculpture. Since receiving her PK-12 certification in 2001, she has gone on to teach art and pottery for children and adults in both private and public institutions. Alana specializes in the development of arts-integrated curricula and is the Director of Education at the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina.|

| Full Description: Students will learn a variety of ceramic hand building techniques: including pinch, slab, coil, surface decoration, glazing, and more! NOTE: No Class on Friday, June 16 as we will be firing the clay pieces in the kiln and returning the following Friday, June 23, to glaze the work. At that time pieces will be fired a second time and available for pick-up in approximately 1 week.

Cancellations must be made 2 weeks prior to the first day of class. A $25 administration fee will be deducted from any refunded amount for all summer camps. To request a cancellation please email email@example.com. Refunds will be mailed within 2 weeks of cancellation.
What to bring:
For students attending all day camps, please provide a sack lunch and drink. Otherwise, a water bottle is all you will need! Art smocks are available for visual arts camps but to ensure a stress-free week please send your child in clothes that can get messy.
