Volunteer Opportunities
The Arts Center of Coastal Carolina is looking for friendly, energetic and committed theater lovers, especially for our summer musical, Mamma Mia (June 14-August 6)! We need volunteers to greet patrons and take tickets, usher in the theater and tend bar. Most shifts are 3 - 4 hours long. We have evening and day time shifts available. Volunteering for performances requires some physical responsibilities and you must be able to stand for extended periods of time, sometimes through an entire performance. volunteers@artshhi.com. Gullah Heritage Trail Tours
Gullah Heritage Trail Tours will be picking up and dropping off at the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina. Learn about the culture of Gullah people during a two-hour bus tour narrated by native Gullah folks who are descendants of former slaves dating back to years immediately after the Civil War. You will travel through the Gullah communities on Hilton Head Island when the island’s landscape was only farmlands, trees, dirt roads, wildlife and natural waterways throughout and around the island.
