The Arts Center produces four free outreach Festival Events each year, including the Community Tree Lighting, Gullah ArtsFest, Youth ArtsFest, Family Fiesta Latina and new in 2008, the Flag Day Festival. The Arts Center’s Education Department provides relevant craft and art projects for the festivals. Festivals are free to the public and provide opportunities for families to explore the arts together. Arts, food, crafts, performances -- it’s all at the Arts Center! |

Special Benefit Events |

Every spring the Arts Center hosts at least one major fundraiser with proceeds supporting the Arts Center’s Education and Outreach activities, including student field trip performances of plays and concerts, community festivals, and ArtsReach, an artist-in-residency program that sends professional artists into area schools to work with students and teachers. On alternate years, the spring fundraiser is the Wine Celebration and Gala, including a champagne reception, wine seminars and tastings, Celebrity Chef and Vintner dinners, Live and Silent Auctions, and much more. At other times, the Special Benefit Event may include a concert performance by a renowed artist, gala dinners and auction items. Fundraising for our Education and Outreach programs is a key undertaking each year and we invite you to attend our Special Benefit Events.
