Flag Day Festival

Join us Saturday, June 14, for an old fashioned community fair to celebrate America’s red, white and blue. The inaugural Flag Day Festival will include live music, Americana-themed crafts and games for the kids and all the hot dogs, popcorn and apple pie you can eat. Headlining the family-friendly event is the Parris Island Marine Corps Band, playing patriotic tunes and John Philip Sousa marches. The entertainment lineup also will feature performances by Bob Masteller and his combo from the Jazz Corner and members of the cast of The Buddy Holly Story singing many of the legendary rocker’s biggest hits, including “Peggy Sue,” “Oh Boy” and “That’ll Be the Day.”
