From education activities in the visual arts, drama and dance workshops, to delicious snacks and the Promising Picassos exhibit in the Woods Community Room, the afternoon will give young artists the opportunity to experience a variety of mediums first hand and learn from guest artists.
Visual arts opportunities include a Collaborative Weaving project, Spin Art Frisbees, Pop Art Handprints, Sand Painting and a glitter tattoo station. These educational crafts range from $1 to $3 and will be on-going during the festival. The Promising Picassos Exhibit in the Arts Center’s Woods Community Room will be open all day with more than 80 works of art on display from Beaufort County youth in grades 3-12.
