Pilobolus Master Dance Class
Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018
5:30 pm (90 minutes)
Dancers, take your training to the next level and reinvigorate your creative impulses using Pilobolus’s signature techniques of improvisation and movement creation. The 90 minute class includes partnering, collaborative choreography, and peer to peer feedback. This class is designed to stretch your limits as a mover, and performer.

The Art of Improvisation
Saturday, December 9
This 2-hour intensive workshop will teach the tools and techniques of improvisation in an encouraging environment. Through fun games and scene work, actors will build confidence using the powerful skill of improv.

Homeschool Art
Fridays, Jan. 12-Feb. 16, 2018
AT CAPACITY: During the 6-week session students will create unique works of art based on renowned American artists. This program will complement the "Discovering Great Artists" homeschool curriculum.

The Enchanted Bookshop
Wednesdays, Jan. 31-Mar. 28
During this 9-week session students will dive deeply into scene work and character development skills while rehearsing for a final production in which every participant plays a part!

Actors created their own script and rehearsed their show.

Jay Apking's Theater Camp was filled with young actors!

The performance was costumed and performed for parents.

STEAM Camp

STEAM Summer Camp is an exciting and hands-on learning opportunity for youth, with a special emphasis on the STEAM curriculum areas (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics). During this fun-filled week campers will learn about concepts such as vibrations, circuits, forces of motion, simple machines, and electromagnetism while creating projects that will have them eager to learn more!

Join us as we explore music, dance and drama in this one week camp and create a mini showcase performance on Friday!

Theatre Camp 2017

To be placed on Wait List, contact AAdams@artshhi.com. Make a cast of new friends during this fun-filled week! Campers will experience a mini-production and will not only be the cast, but will also be the production crew. Campers will learn how to write scripts, understand and develop characters, create sets, props, and design costumes.

Mixed- Up Masterpieces

In this one-week camp, students will study folk and fine art from all around the world that will inspire both traditional and unusual 2D and 3D masterpieces.

Ailey II Master Dance Class

AT CAPACITY. Each 90 minute master class emphasizes focus, discipline, and classical technique as practiced by the Ailey II company.

For the Love of Acting
Ages 6-8
Tuesdays 9/26-10/31
This fun and active 6-week session uses games, movement and story-telling to teach the art of acting. Plan on tons of fun in the spotlight!

For the Love of Acting II
Ages 9-13
Wednesdays, 9/27-11/1
While still using fun acting games and improvisation, kids ages 9-14 will start to develop skills needed for monologues and scene work. A typical class will include a physical and vocal warm-up, acting games and one-on-one work with monologues and short scenes.
